Or the final pass on something you cut in another app. Type captions into a table, even out the loudness with one tap, switch between 16:9 and 9:16 at the resolution you pick, add fades if you want them. Every setting is a short form.
The editor
Every one of them comes down to setting a value. Set only what you need.
libassType them into a table — start time, duration, text. Tap a row to open its edit sheet, swipe to delete, drag the handle to reorder. Set the style once and override it line by line where you need to.
loudnormOne tap, and the whole clip sits at a sensible level. A measuring pass works out how far it can safely come up, and where reaching the target would mean squashing the dynamics, it stops short instead.
afade + fadeVideo and audio fades at the head and the tail, in a colour and length you choose. Previewed live in the player, so you can judge the timing before you spend a render on it.
scale + padSwitch between 16:9 and 9:16, or keep the original, and pick the output resolution from Full HD down to SD. Add independent padding to any side for a caption strip or a QR code, all sharing one frame colour.
A session
Settings save themselves as you go. Come back tomorrow and the draft is where you left it.
One clip from your gallery. BareVid takes its own copy, so cleaning out your camera roll cannot break a saved project.
Work through the tabs in any order. Captions and fades preview in the player without rendering anything.
Everything is applied in one pass, with a progress bar. It happens on the device, so there is nothing to upload. The result is saved to your gallery automatically and ready for the share sheet.
Small video edits and final touches — without opening a timeline.
